About Me
I was born and grew up in London and now live in Wiltshire.
My art is inspired by my passion for nature and I love creating colourful unique abstracts. My abstracts bring walls to life and I hope that they evoke emotion. Its very important to me that I create work that makes people "feel" something.
I also paint landscapes that are usually born from my love of old trees and wild seas.
My favourite medium is acrylic and I like to experiment with texture and use a variety of tools to apply paint to create different effects.
In 2021 I won the Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday Award (SBS), this was so exciting as I became a member of one of the leading small business networks in the UK.
During the summer of 2022 I exhibited my work at the Chippenham Art Trail which was a great event attended by many people.
Recently I have been interviewed by James at BBC Radio Wiltshire as part of Wiltshire Meets. This was a great experience and I was able to chat about my passion for art and what inspires me. I was amazed when James commented that a couple of my landscape meets abstract paintings reminded him of a place he used to visit as a child, Ladye Bay. You can see one of these on the left.
Early Influences
Monet and Turner inspired my early interest in art and my love of impressionism has influenced my work which is constantly evolving.
A passion for travel has taken me to some beautiful places which have been an inspiration for many of my works.
Please take a journey through my gallery,. If you would like more details about any work or maybe a video, or to arrange a private viewing just get in touch.
Art is a very personal thing so I also work with clients to create a bespoke piece of art. just for them, maybe to evoke a memory of a favourite place or just fill a blank wall with something striking.
I can create a painting for you in your choice of colours and a size to fit your "space". Please get in touch for a no-obligation chat to discuss your vision.
